A little introduction

Hi everyone!

As a person suffering from hirsutism, I often feel like I don't receive the support, or perhaps the type of support, I need.
Being unable to find that safe and understanding space, I figured I might as well create my own, and one for everyone else to share.
Over time I will add information regarding causes, treatment and anything else I feel is helpful. Feel free to share your personal stories as that is a large part of what this blog intends to do. Unfortunately I have next to zero web design skills and a blog may not be the best instrument for this purpose, but I encourage you to do it anyway!

I wish you all love and strength
Please don't feel like you are alone :)
Sincerely,
A.

  1. Thanks for creating this blog! I was doing well with my excess hait until recently, when a child remarked on it and it knocked my confidence back a long way, maybe as far as several years. I recently got divorced and panic whether my husband's affair was sparked off by my appearance, even though I've always had hair on my upper lip and chin. I think it's despicable how little support there is for women like us, any other medical condition and you're falling over support groups and public awareness. However this condition, because it focuses on appearance, forces it's sufferers to hide and no general public sympathy is offered. I've had relationships and have a baby. So I think that it's only me it bothers (I'm my own worst crtic) and nobody looks too closey at anothers face. I work in a sales job which is all about confidence, which helps. It forces me to set all negative thoughts about an insignificant tiny bit of hair aside and throw myself into showing my face to complete strangers. It gets difficult sometimes and I completely relay on make-up to mask it but I'm getting there. Your blog has really helped. If you or any other ladies want to contact me for a whinge or general chat about excess body hair (which believe me, I know all about, I'm PCOS) contact me on AngThereseCS@aol.com

  2. Have you heard about the Selectif Pro by Applisonix? It uses ultrasound waves to destroy the hair follicle. I accidentally found out that ultrasound destroys hair follicles. One day I waxed my legs and used an inhome handheld ultrasounic device on my legs because my leg muscles were feeling sore. The hairs on my legs haven't returned (with the exception of a few hairs) and that was over nine months ago.

  3. Hello Buddy..
    How are you..?
Whats method are you using for removing the unwanted hair..? till now..?

I have come across the product which has proved every effective for this problem..
I found it on the internet search with the name br. hair hinder
Basically what is described in its prescription is ...like..this..

*BR. Hair Hinder (only for external use) - is a UNIQUE Researched HERBAL LIQUID which is effective and easy to use at home. It does not cause any irritation on the skin and is thus very safe. The herbal extract liquid should be used after plucking the unwanted hair from the affected area. You just need to apply it after washing the area with any dry Toilet (Dettol) soap - twice daily (once at bed time and other anytime during day) for at least 1 week from the day of plucking (called 1 session). It is a dropper bottle and you shake the bottle well before use. These fine herbal extract particles go deep into the open hair pores (after hair being plucked) and make the roots dead. This stops the growth of hairs which are plucked well and retard the growth from the roots in which external shaft breaks while plucking.

So, when ever some hair growth comes in the area next time - you just need to pluck or wax and then apply *BR. Hair Hinder at home for 1 week. It takes 3-5 sessions to have visible change. Keep on applying like this for as many sessions as required until hair growth in the area is nil. This gives smooth skin with no discoloration - without using costly therapies with irritating side effects. Note- If a male is using *BR. Hair Hinder OR the lady has any menstrual problem or hormonal imbalance or PCOD, even in these cases the hair growth becomes weak and negligible with regular use of *BR. Hair Hinder :)

The product can reach you through courier..through out the world...

    Hoping the best for you..
